Job Description

The Performance Marketing Manager plays a central role within Group Marketing, collaborating with all business units of SMG Swiss Marketplace Group AG. You will join a dynamic team of digital and performance marketing experts.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and optimize Search Engine Advertising efforts for various SMG brands.
  • Collaborate with other digital marketing channels (Social ads, programmatic, display) and be ready to step in for other channels as needed.
  • Drive performance, monitor, analyze, and recommend optimization and growth opportunities with a strong testing mindset.
  • Challenge the status quo and actively contribute to the optimization of processes and workflows.
  • Work with our brands to achieve marketing goals and ensure the implementation of digital marketing best practices.
  • Engage with different marketing professionals, focusing on ad product & creative innovation, audience and data strategy, and measurement and attribution.

Qualifications

  • Native German speaker and fluent in English (our business language).
  • 6+ years of experience across various digital channels, with a strong emphasis on Paid Search. Experience in other digital marketing channels is a plus.
  • Proven track record in Google Ads.
  • Familiarity with the Google Marketing platform (SA360, DV360, CM360).
  • Solid hands-on experience with GA4, Looker Studio, Google Sheets, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Proficiency in feed management tools, particularly with Google Shopping.
  • Ability to work with various stakeholders, demonstrating a service mindset, flexibility, and adaptability to shifting priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent project management skills: highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
