Job Summary

As a P&O Partner for the Consumer Health Business, you will play a pivotal role in aligning our human resources strategies with business objectives to drive growth, efficiency, and productivity across multiple geographies including Switzerland, Denmark, Netherlands, Sweden, UK, France, and Germany. You will collaborate with business leaders to understand current and future business priorities, develop HR strategies, and lead initiatives that foster a future-ready organization. Your role will encompass driving change, enhancing organizational culture, and ensuring the availability of talent through strategic workforce planning and capability building.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Partnering & Strategy:
    • Collaborate with the leadership team and business leaders to ensure people strategies and initiatives align with overall business goals.
    • Develop and define HR strategies and practices that contribute to business growth, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Future-ready Organization:
    • Evaluate and drive productivity improvement initiatives through organizational effectiveness and design.
    • Create future-ready organizational structures based on business strategy.
  • Change Management & Culture Development:
    • Lead and manage complex change and transformation programs, including M&A and new organizational integrations.
    • Champion organizational culture by defining essential aspects and behavioral tenets, enhancing employee experience, and creating engagement plans.
    • Support and guide the organization through change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Talent Strategy:
    • Develop a talent roadmap and implement interventions to ensure talent availability.
    • Identify resourcing strategies and workforce mix, including diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
    • Ensure succession planning for critical roles and create a skilled workforce.
  • Capability Building:
    • Identify capability gaps and learning needs, collaborating with the Learning & Development (L&D) Center of Excellence (CoE).
    • Enable career journeys for mid-management and above.
  • Facilitate Organization/BU Priorities:
    • Support and deliver on central initiatives for the business unit (BU).
    • Provide inputs and expertise on business and HR-specific nuances to project teams.
    • Provide data-driven insights and HR analytics to inform business decisions and drive strategic initiatives.

Job Information

  • Trusted Advisor to Leaders:
    • Coach and consult leaders and managers on talent measures, compensation, performance, career, and engagement.
    • Equip and empower people managers to manage basic processes and address queries and issues.
  • HR Process Excellence:
    • Govern and review the continuous development of HR processes and service delivery across the employee lifecycle.
    • Actively involved in budgeting and ownership of MPC budgets.
    • Guide people partners in matters related to employee investigations, compliance, HR policies, and compensation.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Attributes

Educational qualification: MBA/Master degree in Management.

Minimum work experience: 10-15 years of experience in the HR domain, with at least 5-7 years in a strategic HRBP role.

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business goals.
  • Experience in managing complex change and transformation programs.

Skills & attributes:

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of business strategy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite and other HR-related software.
