Job Opportunity: Payroll Specialist (80 - 100%)

For our client, a well-known NGO located in the Bern agglomeration, we are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join their team as a Payroll Specialist.

Your Tasks

• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, including expense reimbursements.
• Serve as the central point of contact for employees and supervisors regarding payroll, social insurance, withholding tax, and time tracking inquiries.
• Manage the comprehensive processing of social insurances and act as a knowledgeable contact for both internal and external parties.
• Prepare annual payroll statements and ensure seamless processing of payroll statements, AHV, pension fund settlements, and account reconciliations.
• Continuously develop the payroll system, implement annual salary adjustments, and contribute optimization ideas.
• Calculate salary offers for prospective employees, playing a vital role in the recruitment process.
• Participate in cross-departmental projects.

Your Profile

• Possess a commercial basic education or equivalent qualification, along with further training as a Payroll Specialist, social insurance specialist, or a similar certification.
• Bring several years of professional experience in payroll processing and a solid knowledge of social insurance.
• Exhibit strong independent, structured, and precise work habits, complemented by high service orientation.
• Experience with Infoniqa and a time tracking system, preferably TimeTool, is advantageous.
• Communicate confidently in German (native level), and good French skills are a plus.
