About Us

Our school offers dynamic language and cultural programs under the “Asia Prospect” initiative. We specialize in bringing Asian languages and cultures to life for teenagers and adults. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Korean Language Teacher to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Korean language classes for beginners to advanced levels, catering to teenagers and adults.
  • Prepare engaging lesson plans and learning materials (core materials provided by the school).
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Incorporate cultural elements, such as traditions, food, customs, and daily life, to enrich the learning experience.
  • Contribute to a positive and interactive classroom atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Native or near-native proficiency in Korean (spoken and written).
  • Strong communication skills in English and French for teaching support.
  • Previous teaching experience preferred in language schools, private tutoring, or similar settings.
  • Any relevant Korean language teaching certificate or related teaching qualification.
  • Ability or experience in working with small groups (4–8 students).
  • Reliability, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching language and culture.
  • Knowledge or interest in pop music and Korean culture is an advantage.

Work Conditions

  • Classes are offered on-site in Coppet or Fribourg, with travel required between campuses.
  • Flexible schedule: courses scheduled weekly or monthly, dependent on availability.
  • Part-time, hourly contract.

Compensation

Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications.
