Job Opportunity: Part-time Administrative and Accounting Assistant
We are an international, Swiss-based leader in innovative solutions within the textile and apparel industry. To strengthen our operations, we are seeking a part-time Administrative and Accounting Assistant in Aesch BL to manage the administration and financial books of our Indian office.
Responsibilities
- Company Secretarial Services: Preparation of board resolutions and maintenance of statutory records.
- Bookkeeping & Accounting: Regular entries, invoice processing, processing of bank payments, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Financial Management & Compliance (India focus): TDS filings, GST filings and compliance, filings of Form 3CEAD, 3CEAA, 10IC, and LUT under GST, FLA (Foreign Liabilities and Assets Return), and renewal of the Import-Export Code.
- Income tax returns and statutory audit coordination. Computation of advance tax.
- Director Services: Support for passive director role (statutory filings only).
Qualifications
- Previous experience in administrative and/or accounting roles in India is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Indian compliance processes (tax, GST, audit, filings).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with accounting software.
- Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and liaise with both the Swiss HQ and the Indian subsidiary.
