Job Description
We are seeking dedicated operators to provide essential support in the manufacturing environment of large molecules (MAB). This role will focus on downstream processing (DSP) and is scheduled to commence in May 2026, concluding at the end of the same year. The operators will be required to work in shifts following the 6/4 shift model.
Background
We prefer candidates with a background in scientific or technical fields, such as pharmaceutical technology, biotechnology, or chemistry. Experience in the purification of large molecules or extensive experience in a relevant area is highly advantageous.
The Perfect Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess a completed vocational training with a technical emphasis, such as a chemical technician, biochemical technologist, laboratory technician, or a comparable qualification. A qualification in biotechnology is a plus. Key attributes include:
- A solid technical understanding and strong manual skills
- At least one year of professional experience in pharmaceutical production or a GMP-regulated environment
- Fluency in German, both spoken and written (minimum level B2)
- Willingness to perform physical tasks, particularly those involving weighing processes and handling raw materials
- Familiarity with MS Office and MES/PLS (electronic documentation systems), or a readiness to learn quickly
- A reliable, team-oriented approach and a structured working style that supports high-quality production operations
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Weighing of raw materials
- Sampling
- Laboratory work including cell count and pH testing
- Supporting maintenance activities within the plant
- Cleaning and maintaining local storage areas
- Material management
Must Haves
- Minimum vocational degree with a technical background and manual skills (ideally as a Biotechnologist)
- At least one year of experience in a Pharmaceutical or GMP production environment
- Capability and willingness to perform physical work related to weighing processes and handling raw materials
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and experience or willingness to work with MES/PLS (electronic documentation system)
- Fluent in German (min. B2 level) in both speaking and writing
- A strong commitment to teamwork
