Job Function Summary

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Equities Volatility business by managing robust derivatives trade management and post-trade operations oversight. This position involves overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle for listed derivatives activity, ensuring accurate trade capture, allocations, clearing, reconciliations, and exception resolution. The role demands strong control discipline, excellent stakeholder management, and the capacity to thrive in a high-volume, risk-sensitive environment.

Principal Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete listed derivatives trade lifecycle, including trade capture, allocations, clearing, and position management.
• Monitor and resolve discrepancies between exchanges and internal records across trades, positions, and cash.
• Manage internal and external position transfers, give-ups/give-ins, and coordination with clearing brokers.
• Support regulatory and exchange reporting requirements, emphasizing control enhancements and exception management.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, trading desks, brokers, exchanges, and internal teams to provide accurate operational support.
• Drive improvements in straight-through processing (STP), process efficiency, and operational scalability across the platform.

Qualifications/Skills Required

• 10+ years of experience in listed derivatives operations, trade management, clearing, and reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of the exchange-traded derivatives lifecycle and post-trade controls across EMEA and US markets.
• Experience managing exceptions, regulatory reporting, and operational processes related to exchanges and CCPs.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills across trading, client service, compliance, brokers, and vendors.
• Experience working within global teams and supporting change initiatives, migrations, and new product onboarding.
