Job Function Summary

The successful candidate will support the Equities Volatility business with effective derivatives trade management and oversight of post-trade operations. This role involves managing the complete lifecycle of listed derivatives activities, ensuring precise trade capture, allocations, clearing, reconciliations, and resolution of exceptions. A strong control discipline, stakeholder management, and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced, risk-sensitive environment are essential for this role.

Principal Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end listed derivatives trade lifecycle, including trade capture, allocations, clearing, and position management.
• Monitor and resolve discrepancies between exchanges and internal records across trades, positions, and cash.
• Manage internal and external position transfers, give-ups/give-ins, and coordination with clearing brokers.
• Support regulatory and exchange reporting requirements, including control enhancements and exception management.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, trading desks, brokers, exchanges, and internal teams to ensure accurate operational support.
• Drive improvements in straight-through processing (STP), operational efficiency, and scalability across the platform.

Qualifications/Skills Required

• 10+ years of experience in listed derivatives operations, trade management, clearing, and reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of the lifecycle of exchange-traded derivatives and post-trade controls across EMEA and US markets.
• Experience managing exceptions, regulatory reporting, and operational processes related to exchanges and CCPs.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across trading, client services, compliance, brokers, and vendors.
• Experience working with global teams and supporting changes, migrations, and onboarding of new products.
