About the Role

We are currently looking for an Operations Director for our Sierre site, which employs 100 people. In this role, you will be responsible for all operations at the Sierre site, including planning and organizing production, logistics, technical infrastructure, and projects. Your main objective will be to ensure a smooth "just in time" supply and timely delivery for all customers.

Your responsibilities include:

• Managing project initiatives in logistics and process management aimed at optimizing the handling of workwear and flat linen.
• Improving customer satisfaction through effective operations management.
• Collaborating with your team to manage interfaces between different sectors.
• Achieving productivity, cost, deadlines, and other defined performance indicators.
• Ensuring that structural and functional organization complies with market standards.
• Fostering a climate of trust within your team based on the values of the Bardusch company.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A foundational education in metallurgy, textiles, electronics, or machinery, along with further training in project and process management.
• Knowledge of Lean Management principles.
• Successful experience in a comparable position within a production company, coupled with several years of management experience.
• The ability to lead projects, including structuring and modification processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate teams effectively.
• Analytical and entrepreneurial approach to quickly identify issues and persuade others.
• Fluent communication skills in French, with a good knowledge of German preferred.
