Job Opportunity: Operations Admin and Credit Control Specialist
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Operations Admin and Credit Control Specialist for our client, an esteemed international insurance company. This role is vital in supporting the Underwriting and Operations teams with essential policy administration and credit control tasks.
Role Purpose
The primary objective of this position is to assist in the efficient management of policy administration and the control of credit operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Credit Control (50%)
- Manage aged debt on a daily basis.
- Follow up on outstanding premiums with brokers and leaders according to internal guidelines.
- Document the current status of outstanding debts accurately.
- Ensure timely escalation to Underwriters when necessary.
- Issue cancellation notices as required.
- Serve as the liaison for the Madrid credit control team.
Policy Admin/Booking (40%)
- Input risk and policy data into the Operations systems within defined service levels.
- Ensure booking instructions are complete and properly archived.
- Accurately declare, book, and process taxes internally.
General Admin (10%)
- Provide support to the Swiss office with various administrative tasks.
Experience Required
- 1-5 years of experience in technical accounting, credit control, or a related field.
- Insurance industry background preferred.
- Strong affinity for numbers and analytical tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
- Able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
