Job Opportunity: Operations Admin and Credit Control Specialist

For our client, an esteemed international insurance company, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Admin and Credit Control Specialist.

Role Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to support the Underwriting and Operations teams with policy administration and credit control tasks.

Roles and Responsibilities

Credit Control (50%)

  • Manage aged debt on a daily basis.
  • Follow up on outstanding premiums with brokers and leaders in accordance with internal guidelines.
  • Document current status of collections accurately.
  • Facilitate timely involvement and escalation of issues to Underwriters.
  • Issue notices of cancellation as necessary.
  • Serve as a liaison with the Madrid credit control team.

Policy Administration/Booking (40%)

  • Enter risk and policy data into the Operations systems within the defined service level agreements.
  • Ensure booking instructions are complete and properly filed.
  • Verify that taxes are accurately declared, booked, and processed internally.

General Administration (10%)

  • Provide support to the Swiss office with various administrative tasks.

Experience Required

  • 1-5 years of experience in technical accounting, credit control, or similar roles.
  • Insurance industry background preferred.
  • Strong affinity for numbers.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
  • Able to thrive and adapt in a dynamic and continuously evolving environment.
