In our restaurants at Zurich Airport, we take pride in offering our guests exquisite Neapolitan pizzas from a wood-fired oven, Italian pasta dishes, gourmet burgers, authentic Asian cuisine, and a variety of other delicacies.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Restaurant Manager for the service crews of our operated restaurants at Zurich Airport (Upperdeck, Chalet Suisse, The Gallery, and L’Oro di Napoli) to start immediately or by arrangement.

Your Tasks – Here’s Where It Gets Exciting:

  • Leadership with Taste: Lead the chef de service of our four restaurants, supporting daily operations and shaping a team that delights guests every day.
  • Live Hospitality: Cultivate sustainable customer relationships and collaborate closely with partners such as Zurich Airport.
  • Shape Food & Beverage: In partnership with the local headquarters, plan and implement changes to the offerings, execute marketing ideas, and ensure compliance with Autogrill's sales standards.
  • Events with a Wow Factor: Organize and oversee special events in the Circle, transforming them into unforgettable highlights.
  • Stay Flexible: Coordinate cross-concept staff assignments or actively support catering and lunch services as needed.
  • Strengthen Culture: Promote an open, appreciative company and leadership culture reflecting Avolta's values and our Code of Ethics.
  • Keep Goods & Quality in Check: Partially manage inventory according to our procurement guidelines, ensuring compliance with Kopas and HACCP standards.

Your Profile – What You Bring:

  • A completed basic education in gastronomy and/or hospitality.
  • Ideally, further training in business management or the G2 professional certificate, along with solid leadership experience.
  • Advantageous: Experience in the kitchen.
  • Communicative and a passionate host, with a knack for inspiring people.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
  • Familiarity with common IT programs (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and spoken skills.
