Your Responsibilities

Become part of our team investigating the impact of demography on the evolution and diffusion of languages and other cultural traits. The project will involve:

  • Modeling and analyzing large datasets, including newly generated genomes.
  • Participating in sample collection in Africa.
  • Developing new approaches to study the interplay between genetic and linguistic evolution.

Your Profile

We are looking for a student with a strong background in:

  • Population genetics
  • Genomics
  • Bioinformatics
  • Computational biology
  • Statistics
  • Related fields

An interest in linguistic and cultural evolution is essential, along with good communication skills in English.
