Graduate Program Overview
We offer an exceptional program for recent graduates eager to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment. Over the course of 18 months, you'll engage in a rotational program that spans various teams, including trading, risk management, vessel operations, analytics, strategy, and business development. This experience will build your foundational skills in merchandising and trading within the shipping sector.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a participant, you will work collaboratively with team members to fulfill project requirements while also taking ownership of specific initiatives. Regular engagement with a project sponsor will help track your progress on milestones and deliverables. Throughout your journey, you'll confront real-world challenges, nurture your curiosity, and gain invaluable client exposure, celebrating personal and team achievements along the way. Additionally, you'll dedicate time outside of your daily tasks to enhance your soft skills.

Key Accountabilities
- Engage in a rotational assignment based on business needs across departments such as trading, risk management, vessel operations, and analytics.
- Develop and nurture strategic customer relationships while contributing to the enhancement of digitalization and optimization of the trade capture process.
- Participate in the trade lifecycle, including contract negotiation, trade entry, physical execution, and profit and loss analysis.
- Analyze supply and demand data along with market and economic conditions to identify opportunities for innovation and improved data analysis.
- Assist in resolving basic issues under direct supervision and escalate more complex problems to appropriate personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Data Science & Technology, Sustainability, Marketing, Business, or Finance.
- Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to influence others effectively.
- Agility in learning and adaptability to a dynamic environment.
- Ability to manage risks and navigate ambiguity.
- Collaborative spirit and capability to thrive in a diverse, multicultural landscape.
- Business fluency in English is essential; proficiency in another language is a strong advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Digital proficiency: strong analytical, quantitative, and numeric skills; proficiency in Excel; familiarity with data science tools, visual analytics technologies, and programming languages.
