Join Our Team as an Occupational Therapist in Zurich
As a qualified occupational therapist (Dipl. Ergotherapeutin or Dipl. Ergotherapeut HF/FH), you will play a pivotal role in a clinic in Zurich, specializing in neurological rehabilitation. This position offers the opportunity to assist patients in regaining as independent a life as possible following acute neurological events. You can look forward to working in a professional inter-interprofessional environment with access to modern therapeutic treatments and attractive training and development perspectives with a workload of 60 to 70%.
What You Can Expect in This Varied Role
- Independent treatment of inpatient patients at the certified Stroke Center, as well as in specialties like neurosurgery, geriatrics, oncology, and internal medicine.
- Planning and implementing evidence-based occupational therapy treatment methods based on medical diagnoses.
- Promoting independence and supporting patients with challenges in daily coping after neurological diseases or interventions.
- Conducting assessments and progress documentation, along with creating reports and performance records.
- Close interprofessional collaboration with doctors, nursing staff, and other therapeutic disciplines.
What You Bring With You
- Completed training as a qualified occupational therapist (Dipl. Ergotherapeutin or Dipl. Ergotherapeut HF/FH) or an equivalent qualification recognized in Switzerland.
- Professional experience in the acute neurological field, preferably in an intensive care unit.
- Knowledge in neuropsychology is an advantage.
- An independent, structured, and responsible working style.
