As a student nurse at Hirslanden Clinic, you will have the chance to actively apply your theoretical knowledge in a practical setting. You will be supported and guided by a professional and appreciative team, gradually introducing you to responsible tasks—all with the aim of ensuring excellent and patient-centered care.
Your Tasks
- Responsible for the care and support of patients from hospital admission to discharge.
- Management of the entire nursing process.
- Central point of contact for patients, relatives, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Assumption of supportive, advisory, coordinating, and analytical functions.
- Completion of the practical part at Hirslanden Clinic, with the theoretical part at the educational provider Careum Zurich or ZAG in Winterthur.
Your Profile
- Completion of a three-year vocational training with a federal certificate, a DMS/FMS diploma, or a secondary school diploma (Matura).
- Empathy and a high level of social competence in dealing with patients, their relatives, and in collaboration with colleagues and doctors.
- Customer and service orientation, along with a strong sense of responsibility and independence.
- Willingness to further develop your expertise and contribute significantly to the success of our clinic.

- Under the mentorship of your vocational trainer and training manager, you will explore various areas of highly specialized medicine during your practical placements.
- You will have the opportunity to be directly employed by Hirslanden Clinic throughout your training and enjoy the same employment conditions as our staff.
- Consistent salary payment throughout the training period under attractive conditions.
- Interested candidates can participate in a suitability internship following the job interview, which is part of the assessment process for HF nursing training.
- Duration of training: 3 years (shortened HF program of 2 years available upon completion of healthcare professional training).
