Job Opportunity: Non-Life Reinsurance Accountant (m/f/d)
We are seeking a talented Non-Life Reinsurance Accountant for our client, a leading reinsurance company based in Zurich. This position is part of the Business Support Unit (BSU) team, where you will engage with complex reinsurance products and structures, primarily focusing on Non-Life.

Your Responsibilities
- Manage a Non-Life reinsurance portfolio
- Treaty handling
- Technical accounting & claims handling
- Cash handling
- Support in projects
- Coordinate and deliver data to our external auditor
- Actively participate in monitoring and managing the quarterly closing process as per regulatory requirements
- Provide support for administrative tasks
Your Profile
- Experience in Non-Life reinsurance accounting or controlling with IFRS17 education
- Commercial degree or similar qualifications
- Strong numerical aptitude
- Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and demonstrate strong technical skills
- Proactive team player with excellent communication skills; flexible and detail-oriented with an independent working style
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive working and learning environment
- Fluent in English; knowledge of any other European language is an asset
