Job Title:

IT Network Support

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, setting up, operating, and maintaining datacenter and office networks
• Improve reliability and optimize the performance of network infrastructure: datacenters, office networks, lab networks, site-to-site VPN
• Provide debugging assistance in user support cases, prioritizing production-impacting issues
• Maintain documentation for network processes and configurations

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in enterprise and datacenter networking
• Confirmed experience in the design, setup, and operation of corporate IT network infrastructure
• Experience in networking of cloud or virtualization infrastructures is a plus
• Familiarity with Fortinet Gateways is advantageous
• Sound knowledge of major network equipment vendors’ switching and routing solutions
• Knowledge of and practical experience with physical connectivity aspects (fibers, transceivers)
• Understanding of VPN technologies and Linux networking
• Network monitoring and debugging skills
• Good interpersonal skills and willingness to help and support others
• CH/EU National or holder of a valid Swiss work permit

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in Information Technology
