Job Title: IT Network Support
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, setting up, operating, and maintaining datacenter and office networks.
- Improve reliability and optimize performance of network infrastructure: datacenters, office networks, lab networks, site-to-site VPN.
- Provide debugging assistance in user support cases, prioritizing production-impacting issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in enterprise and datacenter networking.
- Confirmed experience in designing, setting up, and operating corporate IT network infrastructure.
- Experience in networking for cloud or virtualization infrastructures is a plus.
- Familiarity with Fortinet Gateways is advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of major network equipment vendors’ switching and routing solutions.
- Practical experience with physical connectivity aspects (fibers, transceivers).
- Understanding of VPN technologies and Linux networking.
- Strong network monitoring and debugging skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to help and support others.
- CH/EU National or holder of a valid Swiss work permit.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in Information Technology.
