Job Title: IT Network Support
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, setup, operation, and maintenance of datacenter and office networks.
- Enhance reliability and optimize performance of network infrastructure: datacenters, office networks, lab networks, and site-to-site VPN.
- Provide debugging support in user cases, prioritizing those impacting production.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in enterprise and datacenter networking.
- Proven experience in the design, setup, and operation of corporate IT network infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud or virtualization infrastructures is a plus.
- Familiarity with Fortinet Gateways is advantageous.
- Solid knowledge of major network equipment vendors’ switching and routing solutions.
- Understanding and practical experience with physical connectivity aspects (fibers, transceivers).
- Knowledge of VPN technologies and Linux networking.
- Strong network monitoring and debugging skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a willingness to help and support others.
- Swiss/eu national or holder of a valid Swiss work permit.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in Information Technology.
