Job Title:
IT Network Support
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, setting up, operating, and maintaining datacenter and office networks.
- Enhance reliability and optimize the performance of network infrastructure, including datacenters, office networks, lab networks, and site-to-site VPN.
- Provide debugging support for user cases, prioritizing those impacting production.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in enterprise and datacenter networking.
- Proven experience in the design, setup, and operation of corporate IT network infrastructure.
- Familiarity with cloud or virtualization infrastructure is a plus.
- Experience with Fortinet Gateways is advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of major network equipment vendors’ switching and routing solutions.
- Hands-on experience with physical connectivity aspects (fibers, transceivers).
- Proficient in VPN technologies and Linux networking.
- Strong network monitoring and debugging skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to support others.
- CH/EU National or holder of a valid Swiss work permit.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in Information Technology.
