Job Title:

IT Network Support

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, setting up, operating, and maintaining datacenter and office networks.
• Improve reliability and optimize the performance of network infrastructure, including datacenters, office networks, lab networks, and site-to-site VPN.
• Provide debugging assistance in user support cases, prioritizing production-impacting issues.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in enterprise and datacenter networking/coupling.
• Proven experience in designing, setting up, and operating corporate IT network infrastructure.
• Experience in networking cloud or virtualization infrastructures is a plus.
• Familiarity with Fortinet Gateways is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of major network equipment vendors’ switching and routing solutions.
• Practical experience with physical connectivity aspects (fibers, transceivers).
• Knowledge of VPN technologies and Linux networking.
• Proficient in network monitoring and debugging skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to help and support others.
• CH/EU National or holder of a valid Swiss work permit.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in Information Technology.
