Job opportunity
Huawei is a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider. With a steadfast commitment to customer-centric innovation and strong partnerships, we have established advanced end-to-end capabilities across the carrier networks, enterprise, consumer, and cloud computing fields. Our products and solutions are deployed in over 170 countries, serving more than one third of the world’s population.
With 28 sites across Europe and a team of 2,000 researchers, Huawei’s European Research Institute (ERI) focuses on fundamental and applied technology research, academic collaborations, and strategic technical planning across our network of European R&D facilities. The ERI includes our Research Center (RC) located in Zurich, Switzerland, featuring a new research laboratory dedicated to exploring the first generation of composable-native computing infrastructure, emphasizing the unification of scale-up and scale-out fabrics.
The lab encourages collaboration, enabling both internal Huawei researchers and academic partners from universities across Europe to engage in foundational long-term research within an "open research environment." This setting fosters an atmosphere akin to the best universities and research institutions, promoting scientific inquiry and innovation.
We are seeking a highly motivated and visionary researcher to join our team focused on High Performance Computing Networks. This role involves extensive research and development in high-performance accelerator chip architecture and high-performance interconnection protocols, aimed at overcoming the performance and scalability limitations of traditional compute platforms.
