Job Responsibilities
- Network Architecture: Design, implement, and document complex network architectures and cybersecurity measures tailored to customer specifications.
- Network Configuration: Set up firewalls and other network components.
- Project Support: Supervise and support internal and external teams on network and cybersecurity requirements.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct cybersecurity and network factory acceptance tests (FAT) and resolve issues.
- Knowledge Sharing: Provide first-level support and share expertise within the department.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in network engineering; experience in automation technology and plant engineering is a plus.
- Cybersecurity Knowledge: Familiarity with IEC 62443 standards and experience in cyber security risk assessment for control systems.
- Network Expertise: Experience with statically managed networks and their configuration, including firewalling, VLAN, and ring topologies; knowledge of OT control systems is a plus.
- Certifications: Cybersecurity or Network engineer certifications are advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in network devices from manufacturers such as Hirschmann, Siemens, Fortinet, and Phoenix Contact; knowledge of Siemens PCS7 and Allen Bradley systems is a plus.
- Languages: Strong English communication skills; proficiency in German is a plus.
