BeeBoo is seeking an experienced, reliable, dynamic, and flexible live-out nanny/housekeeper to support a mother in Geneva in caring for her 4-year-old daughter. This role also involves providing assistance to the main nanny during the weekends. The family, having recently relocated from London, offers a stable permanent position with a focus mainly on weekends and some presence on Monday mornings. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the main nanny, who works with the family during the week, ensuring excellent communication to maintain seamless care for the child and effective household organization.

Information about the Position

• Schedule: Mainly Saturday, Sunday, and Monday morning

Schedule

Saturday

3:00 PM – 8:00 PM approximately. The main nanny finishes her week around 2:00 PM, and the candidate takes over from 3:00 PM.

Sunday

8:00 AM – 8:00 PM approximately. The role involves caring for the child and supporting household organization throughout the day.

Monday Morning

6:30 AM – 8:00 AM. The candidate is responsible for the morning routine, ensuring the child is ready for her school minibus at 7:20 AM. The main nanny resumes her position from 8:00 AM. Final hours and specific organization will be discussed with the family in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

A Position in Pair

The chosen candidate will collaborate with Garnise, the family's primary nanny who is responsible for weekday care. The family is looking for someone who embodies a true team spirit, ensuring fluid communication regarding:

• The child's care and organization
• Meals
• Activities and appointments
• Laundry and housekeeping
• Instructions from the mother
• Care for pets

The family desires both professionals to communicate easily, support each other, and work cohesively as a unit.

Responsibilities Towards the Child

• Provide care for a 4-year-old girl
• Ensure morning and evening routines are followed
• Prepare meals and snacks
• Organize age-appropriate activities
• Suggest outings, games, parks, and educational activities
• Ensure her well-being and safety
• Prepare her belongings when necessary
• Manage the Sunday evening routine
• Prepare the child on Monday morning
• Ensure her timely departure with the school minibus at 7:20 AM
• Take over autonomously in the mother's absence

Responsibilities in the House

The role also includes a housekeeping element. Responsibilities include:

• Regular maintenance and tidying of the house
• Managing and organizing laundry
• Meal preparation
• Organizing living spaces
• Preparing the child's room and belongings
• Completing various tasks to maintain a clean and organized environment

The family owns cats, so the candidate must be comfortable with animals and be responsible for feeding them as necessary.

Traveling with the Family

Occasionally, the candidate will need to accompany the family during trips. Requirements include:

• A valid passport
• Status permitting travel with the family
• Able to travel, especially within Europe and to the mountains
• Flexibility to accompany the mother and child on certain trips

Desired Profile

• Experienced with children, preferably around 4 years old
• Experience as a nanny and/or housekeeper in a private family setting
• Good communication skills in English
• Residing in Geneva or nearby
• Holding a valid work permit for Switzerland
• Available every weekend based on the planned organization
• Able to begin at 6:30 AM on Monday mornings
• Willing to stay overnight at the family home on Sunday nights if needed
• No driver's license or vehicle required
• Able to travel occasionally with the family
• Warm, caring, and reliable with children
• Very punctual, proactive, autonomous, and organized
• Flexible and comfortable with regular maintenance tasks
• Comfortable with cats
• Excellent team communication skills
