Position: IB MYP & IB DP Individuals and Societies Teacher

Starting Date: August 2024

ISBerne is an authorized IB World school, offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP), as well as the ISBerne Diploma.

The school, founded in October 1961, boasts a purpose-built campus with modern facilities such as science laboratories, a central library, subject-specific classrooms, and a double gym. Our student body comprises around 300 students from 50 nationalities, supported by a staff of 55 dedicated faculty and administration members.

The Position

ISBerne is looking to hire an IB MYP & IB DP Individuals and Societies Teacher with the ability to teach DP Economics and Business Management. We value educators who can form strong connections with students and cultivate professional relationships. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and passionate teacher, committed to fostering intercultural understanding and diversity.

Requirements

• Excellent classroom practitioner
• Minimum 2 years of IB MYP and/or IB DP experience
• Strong communication skills in English
• Appropriate degree and teaching qualification

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in a small school setting
• Previous work in a European international school environment
• EU or Swiss Passport
