Your Responsibilities

  • Professional assembly and disassembly of engine gearboxes and related components according to manufacturer specifications and technical drawings.
  • General mechanical assembly tasks on engine components and gear systems.
  • Inspection and documentation of components for dimensional accuracy and damage.
  • Independent reading and application of technical documentation, such as Maintenance Manuals (AMM, CMM).
  • Actively participate in process improvements and the implementation of new technologies using Lean Management methods (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, 5S).
  • Strict compliance with aviation regulations (e.g., EASA Part-145) and internal quality and safety standards.
  • Support adjacent departments as necessary (e.g., inspections, logistics, repair coordination).

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed vocational training in a mechanical trade, preferably as a polytechnic, industrial mechanic, or similar qualification.
  • Ideally, initial work experience in the aviation industry or in a high-precision mechanical environment (e.g., engine or gearbox technology).
  • Strong quality awareness with a precise, structured, and independent working style.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, along with flexibility in daily operations.
  • Ability to remain focused and work efficiently under time pressure.
  • Willingness to work shifts (2-shift system) and occasionally on weekends if required.
  • Motivation for continuous professional development and acquisition of aviation-specific certifications.
  • Solid IT user skills (especially MS Office); SAP or similar ERP system knowledge is advantageous.
  • Good command of German and English, both spoken and written.
