Your Tasks
- Professional assembly and disassembly of engine gearboxes and related components according to manufacturer specifications and technical drawings.
- General mechanical assembly tasks on engine components and gear systems.
- Inspection and documentation of components for dimensional accuracy and damage.
- Independent reading and application of technical documentation, such as Maintenance Manuals (AMM, CMM).
- Active participation in process improvements and the implementation of new technologies using Lean Management methods (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, 5S).
- Strict compliance with aviation regulations (e.g., EASA Part-145) and internal quality and safety standards.
- Supporting adjacent departments as needed (e.g., inspections, logistics, repair coordination).
Your Profile
- Successfully completed vocational training in a mechanical trade, preferably as a polytechnic, industrial mechanic, or similar qualification.
- Ideally, initial work experience in the aviation industry or in a high-precision mechanical environment (e.g., engine or gearbox technology).
- Strong quality awareness and a precise, structured, and independent working style.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, as well as flexibility in daily operations.
- Ability to stay focused and work efficiently even under time pressure.
- Willingness to work shifts (2-shift system) and occasionally on weekends if required.
- Motivation for continuous professional development and acquisition of aviation-specific certifications.
- Solid IT user skills (especially MS Office); SAP or similar ERP system knowledge is an advantage.
- Good command of German and English, both spoken and written.
