Job Title: MSAT Engineer Process Management

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced engineer to provide vital technical support for our existing production operations and improvement projects within a matrix structure at our Rotkreuz location. If you have a background in regulated environments, a keen eye for compliance, and a big-picture mindset, you will thrive within our fast-paced, agile team.

The Perfect Candidate

The ideal candidate is a proactive engineer with experience in a highly regulated, GxP-compliant environment and fluency in both English and German (B2+). You should possess a data-driven mindset for managing deviations, optimizing production processes, and utilizing SAP for handling non-conformities and quality lifecycles. We value collaborative, hands-on problem solvers who can independently manage stakeholder relationships and maintain technical supplier connections.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Compliance & Quality Lifecycle: Manage non-conformities, changes, and documentation in SAP, covering processes, methods, materials, and equipment.
• Supplier Management: Manage technical relationships with external suppliers and collaborate with internal departments, including Logistics, Development, and Quality, to ensure seamless product supply.
• Root Cause Analysis: Implement structured problem-solving processes for fact-based, data-driven root cause analysis and identify effective countermeasures.
• Deviation Management: Support the investigation and processing of deviations within S&C sensors and reagents production.
• Process Optimization: Enhance production processes to improve quality, increase yield, and decrease costs for assigned products.
• Control Loops: Establish, maintain, and continuously improve control loops.
• Stakeholder Management: Independently communicate with and gather crucial information from various cross-functional stakeholders.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to existing frameworks, regulatory guidelines, and department-specific requirements.
• Audit Readiness: Prepare for quality audits and represent the Chapter during audit procedures.

Must Haves

• Experience & Mindset: Proven professional experience within a highly regulated environment, demonstrating strong quality awareness (GxP mindset).
• Knowledge: Essential understanding of process and product development.
• Collaboration: High motivation for teamwork, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work independently within and across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proactivity: Enthusiasm for responsibility and proactive collaboration with an engaged team of engineers, operators, QA, and logistics.
• Hands-on Approach: Genuine interest in learning manufacturing technologies and continuously improving diverse BG&E processes to enhance in-house production efficiency.
• Languages: Fluent communication skills in English and a good working knowledge of German (B2+).
