About the Role

POMOCA is poised for growth as we continue the implementation of our new ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central), initiated in March 2025. In our first year, we focused on finance, commerce, and payroll, with the complete implementation of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) set for completion in 2026.

As a key player in this project, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire MRP process. Your role will include improving data quality, configuring MRP settings, and ensuring efficient processes to guarantee seamless operations. You will collaborate closely with departments such as purchasing, logistics, and production to optimize purchasing planning, logistics flows, and production scheduling processes.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Understand the MRP logic of Business Central and its various parameters.
  • Configure the MRP system to align with the company's operational needs, ensuring optimal results.
  • Familiarize yourself with the structure of item MasterData, including bills of materials and routings, to maintain data integrity.
  • Execute and monitor the MRP process to generate purchase and production orders based on demand forecasts and inventory levels.
  • Analyze material availability and suggest strategies to mitigate shortages or surplus stock.
  • Maintain relevant master data critical for planning purposes, including lead times and order quantities.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production scheduling, sales, and warehouse teams to align procurement requirements with delivery schedules.
  • Support sales and operations planning (S&OP) processes by providing accurate material and production planning information; organize monthly S&OP meetings to facilitate agreement on production schedules and capacities.
  • Identify and implement workflow improvements within the MRP and planning systems.

Profile

  • Degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in material requirements planning (MRP), production planning, or supply chain functions within a manufacturing context.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365) and their functionality.
  • Digital mindset with a solid understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and production flows.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Fluency in both French (working language) and English.
  • Preferably, experience in the sporting goods or textile industry and a passion for mountain or outdoor sports.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI) is advantageous.
