About the Role

At Pomoca, we are excited to announce the implementation of a new ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) in March 2025. The focus during the first year will be on finance, commerce, and payroll, with a complete roll-out of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) anticipated in 2026. You will be pivotal in leading the full implementation of MRP, ensuring enhanced data quality, correct settings, and streamlined processes for its success.

Your role will encompass optimizing purchasing planning, logistics flows, and production scheduling processes to maximize efficiency in manufacturing, logistics, and procurement. Your main points of contact will include purchasing, logistics, and production scheduling teams.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Understand the MRP logic of Business Central and all its parameters.
  • Configure MRP to yield optimal results tailored to the company's needs.
  • Ensure data quality and structure of the item Master Data (including bill of materials and routings) for effective MRP functionality.
  • Execute and manage the MRP process in the ERP system to generate purchase and production orders based on demand forecasts, customer orders, and stock levels.
  • Analyze material availability and propose measures to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Monitor and maintain relevant master data for planning, including lead times, safety stock, and order quantities.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production scheduling, sales, and warehouse teams to align procurement requirements with delivery schedules.
  • Support Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes by delivering accurate material and production planning information. Organize the monthly S&OP meeting to align sales and production on the medium-term production schedule and capacity.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in MRP and planning workflows.

Profile

  • Education in supply chain management, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in material requirements planning (MRP), production planning, or supply chain functions within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365) and their underlying logic.
  • Digital mindset.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and production flows.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to translate business challenges into effective MRP solutions.
  • Fluency in French (working language) and English.
  • Preferred qualifications: Experience in the sporting goods or textile industry, passion for mountain/outdoor sports, and proficiency in data analysis tools (Power BI, etc.).
