Join Our Bilingual Montessori School

We are a small, family-oriented bilingual Montessori private school, proudly established in Neuchâtel for over 25 years. We welcome children aged 3 to 12 in a warm and nurturing environment that fully embraces Montessori pedagogy. We are currently seeking a Montessori Assistant or Socio-Educational Assistant for immediate replacement, available as soon as possible.

Job Details

• Main age group: 3-6 years (Children's House)
• Occupation rate: approximately 80%
• Start date: as soon as possible
• Duration of the mission: 2 weeks, possibly extendable based on needs
• Languages: French or English

Main Responsibilities (After-School)

• Supervision and serving of meals
• Support for creative and crafting activities
• Participation in outdoor school activities
• Management of nap times
• If useful: Assistance in classroom management and support for the teaching team
• Possibility of additional tasks with children aged 6-12, particularly for reading support

Desired Profile

• Experience in supporting children aged 3-6 (ideally in a Montessori or socio-educational context)
• Ability to work in a team within a collaborative and bilingual environment
• Sense of observation, kindness, and respect for the child's pace
• Immediate availability for approximately 80% occupancy
• Proficiency in French and/or English
