Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in enhancing our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions, specifically using Syncade. This position requires a collaborative approach, working effectively at various levels within project teams, client organizations, and sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage software skills and experience to define client requirements.
  • Conduct client interviews and analyze documentation to establish functional requirements for interfaces between Syncade and various other systems.
  • Develop detailed designs and implement complex MES (Syncade) solutions, encompassing both hardware and software components that meet client expectations.
  • Collaborate with an experienced software engineering team to deliver specified areas of MES solutions, utilizing both custom-developed software applications and configured products.
  • Design, implement, and test interfaces between Syncade and systems such as LIMS or SAP.
  • Interface the project environment with the corporate and customer IT network and security environment.
  • Oversee the installation and setup of MES-specific computer systems, including PCs, servers, networks, and other hardware products (e.g., weigh scales, barcode scanners) as required.
  • Manage the installation and commissioning of MES software applications, both commercial products and internally developed applications, at customer sites and in-house.
  • Handle the allocation of license keys and the installation of software upgrades and patches for MES systems.
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting application issues, liaising with internal Technical Support as necessary.
  • Interface and coordinate technical issues relating to the project with the project team, internal and external clients to ensure successful project execution.
  • Ensure the technical correctness of software and associated documentation.
  • Visit client sites to perform design studies, acceptance tests, commissioning, and training.
  • Develop documentation required for validated facilities.
  • Support the sales organization through demonstrations, presentations, and engineering estimates.
