Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the success of our projects by collaborating effectively across project teams, client organizations, and sales departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively at various levels within project teams, client organizations, and sales.
  • Utilize software skills and experience to define client requirements accurately.
  • Establish functional requirements through client interviews and documentation analysis for multiple interfaces between Syncade and various other systems.
  • Develop detailed designs and implement complex Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions, including both hardware and software components, that address client needs.
  • Work alongside an experienced software engineering team to contribute to the delivery of identified areas of MES solutions using custom-developed software applications and configured products.
  • Design, implement, and test interfaces between Syncade and different systems such as LIMS or SAP.
  • Interface the project environment with the corporate and customer IT network, ensuring adherence to security protocols.
  • Oversee the installation and setup of MES-specific computer systems, including PCs, servers, networks, and other hardware products (e.g., weigh scales, barcode scanners) necessary for MES systems.
  • Manage the installation and commissioning of MES software applications, which includes commercial products and internally developed applications, both in-house and at customer sites.
  • Handle the allocation of license keys, installation of software upgrades, and application of patches for MES systems.
  • Assist customers in troubleshooting application problems and liaising with internal Technical Support as needed.
  • Address and coordinate technical issues related to the project with project teams and clients to ensure successful project execution.
  • Ensure the technical correctness of software and accompanying technical documentation.
  • Visit client sites to conduct design studies, acceptance tests, commissioning, and training sessions.
  • Develop necessary documentation for validated facilities.
  • Support the sales organization in demonstrations, presentations, and engineering estimates.
