Job Description

We are looking for a talented professional to join our team and contribute to various projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will work effectively at different levels within project teams, client organizations, and sales departments. Your expertise in software will be invaluable in defining client requirements and ensuring successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage software skills and experience to define client requirements.
  • Define functional requirements through client interviews and documentation analysis for various interfaces between Syncade and other systems.
  • Develop detailed designs and implement complex Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions, both hardware and software, that meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with an experienced software engineering team to deliver assigned areas of MES solutions using both custom-developed software applications and configured products.
  • Design, implement, and test interfaces between Syncade and various other systems, including LIMS and SAP.
  • Interface the project environment with the corporate and customer IT network and security environment.
  • Install and set up MES-specific computer systems, including PCs, servers, networks, and other hardware products (e.g., weigh scales, barcode scanners) required for the specific MES systems.
  • Install and commission MES software applications, including both commercial products and internally developed applications, at customer sites and in-house.
  • Manage the allocation of license keys and the installation of software upgrades and patches for MES systems.
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting application problems, including liaison with internal Technical Support.
  • Interface and coordinate technical issues related to the project with the project team and both internal and external clients as required for successful project execution.
  • Ensure the technical correctness of the software and associated technical documentation.
  • Visit client sites to perform design studies, acceptance tests, commissioning, and training.
  • Develop documentation required for validated facilities.
  • Assist the sales organization in demonstrations, presentations, and engineering estimates.
