Key Responsibilities

  • Work effectively at different levels within project teams, client organizations, and sales.
  • Leverage software skills and experience to define client requirements.
  • Gather functional requirements through client interviews and documentation analysis for various interfaces between Syncade and other systems.
  • Develop detailed designs and implement complex Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions, both hardware and software, that align with client needs.
  • Collaborate with an experienced software engineering team to deliver assigned areas of MES solutions using both custom-developed software applications and configured products.
  • Design, implement, and test interfaces between Syncade and other systems such as LIMS or SAP.
  • Integrate the project environment with corporate and customer IT networks and security protocols.
  • Install and set up MES-specific computer systems, including PCs, servers, networks, and additional hardware (e.g., weigh scales, barcode scanners) as needed for specific MES solutions.
  • Commission MES software applications, including both commercial products and internally developed applications, on-site and at customer locations.
  • Manage the allocation of license keys and oversee the installation of software upgrades and patches for MES systems.
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting application issues, coordinating with internal Technical Support as necessary.
  • Interface and coordinate technical issues related to the project with the project team and both internal and external clients, ensuring successful project execution.
  • Ensure the technical accuracy of the software along with associated documentation.
  • Conduct site visits to clients for design studies, acceptance tests, commissioning, and training.
  • Develop necessary documentation for validated facilities.
  • Support the sales organization with demonstrations, presentations, and engineering estimates.
