Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team. This role involves engaging effectively at various levels within project teams, client organizations, and sales. The ideal candidate will leverage their software skills and experience to define client requirements and ensure the successful execution of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Define functional requirements through client interviews and documentation analysis for various interfaces between Syncade and other systems.
- Develop detailed designs and implement complex MES (Syncade) solutions, both hardware and software, that meet client specifications.
- Collaborate with an experienced software engineering team to deliver assigned areas of MES solutions using custom-developed software applications and configured products.
- Design, implement, and test interfaces between Syncade and various systems like LIMS or SAP.
- Interface the project environment with corporate and customer IT networks and security protocols.
- Install and set up MES-specific computer systems, including PCs, servers, networks, and hardware products (such as weigh scales and barcode scanners) required for specific MES systems.
- Install and commission MES software applications, including both commercial products and internally developed applications, at customer sites.
- Manage allocation of license keys, software upgrades, and patches for MES systems.
- Assist customers with troubleshooting application problems, coordinating with internal Technical Support as necessary.
- Interface and coordinate technical issues related to the project with the project team and both internal and external clients for successful project execution.
- Ensure the technical accuracy of the software and all related documentation.
- Visit client sites to perform design studies, acceptance tests, commissioning, and training.
- Develop documentation required for validated facilities.
- Support the sales organization with demonstrations, presentations, and engineering estimates.
