Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be tasked with effectively collaborating at various levels within project teams, client organizations, and sales departments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing software skills and expertise to define client requirements.
  • Identifying functional requirements through client interviews and thorough documentation analysis, focusing on the integration between Syncade and other systems.
  • Developing comprehensive designs and implementing complex Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions using Syncade, tailored to meet client specifications.
  • Collaborating with an experienced software engineering team to deliver assigned components of MES solutions, utilizing both custom-developed software applications and configured products.
  • Designing, implementing, and testing interfaces between Syncade and various other systems, such as LIMS and SAP.
  • Integrating project environments with corporate and customer IT networks and security measures.
  • Installing and configuring MES-specific computer systems, including PCs, servers, networks, and additional hardware products (e.g., weigh scales, barcode scanners) essential for specific MES operations.
  • Installing and commissioning MES software applications, including both commercial and internally developed solutions, on-site and remotely.
  • Managing the allocation of license keys, and overseeing the installation of software upgrades and patches for MES systems.
  • Providing troubleshooting support for application issues, coordinating with internal Technical Support as necessary.
  • Addressing and coordinating technical issues related to the project with both internal teams and external clients to ensure successful project execution.
  • Ensuring the technical accuracy of the software and its accompanying documentation.
  • Conducting site visits to clients for design studies, acceptance testing, commissioning, and training sessions.
  • Generating documentation required for validated facilities.
  • Supporting the sales organization with demonstrations, presentations, and engineering estimates.
