Our client is a successful family-run cheese factory in the Bernese Jura. The business processes silage-free mountain raw milk from approximately seventy farmers into high-quality cheese and butter products. They are one of the few producers of Tête de Moine AOP and proudly export their specialties worldwide.
Job Description
In this responsible position, you will oversee the mechanical and electrical operations of our systems. Your role will involve actively participating in both preventive and corrective maintenance work. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing and resolving malfunctions to ensure a smooth production process.
- Supporting the management and oversight of the technical warehouse.
- Creating and maintaining up-to-date technical documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with both internal and legal safety requirements while promoting these standards.
- Contributing to improvement projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency and quality of our processes.
Expectations
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Experience as an operational mechanic or electrician.
- Completed training as an automation engineer, mechatronics engineer, or mechanic with electrical engineering experience.
- Good foundational knowledge in electrical engineering.
- Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably with machines for packaging and conditioning in the food industry.
- Familiarity with Multivac machines is a plus.
- Ability to analyze problems confidently and implement solutions.
- Good command of common computer applications.
- A motivated and dynamic individual with experience in food production.
- Very good knowledge of French or German, with a willingness to use the other language.
