Job Description
Position Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Technical Responsibilities:
Utilities Operations: Operate Utilities Systems including chemical, gas, chemical waste, clean and plant utilities systems on GMP level.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on utility systems and process equipment, including HVAC, boilers, water systems, bioreactors, vessels, and purification equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Fixing: Quickly identify and resolve system issues that arise during the second shift to minimize downtime.
Documentation: Document all maintenance activities, including repairs and inspections, corrective and preventive actions, in accordance with GMP standards.
Support Manufacturing: Assist in maintaining systems critical to manufacturing operations, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
Ensure Compliance: Align all maintenance activities with GMP standards and safety laws.
Collaborate with Team: Work closely with the maintenance team leads and other team members to coordinate maintenance activities and priorities.
Quality Responsibilities:
Adhere to general cGMP rules, quality policies, procedures, and instructions as set forth by the Quality function and endorsed by site management.
Contribute actively to continuous quality improvement initiatives, deviation reporting, and follow-up.
EHSS Responsibilities:
Follow general safety rules, policies, procedures, and instructions as mandated by the EHSS functions and endorsed by site management.
Contribute to safety initiatives and report near misses, ensuring proper follow-up.

Position Qualifications:
Technical diploma or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Experience & Competences:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a GMP manufacturing facility.
Demonstrated experience in maintaining and repairing process equipment.
Proficient in GMP standards and maintenance strategies.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work independently and demonstrate job ownership.
Strong analytical and concept-based thinking skills.
Attention to detail in documenting activities in compliance with GMP standards.
Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, walking, and lifting of materials and equipment.
Ability to work in cleanroom environments, adhering to all GMP and safety laws.
Willingness to support the on-call team for 24/7 support.
