Current Opening: Mechanical Design & Workshop Manager
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated Mechanical Design & Workshop Manager. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading the mechanical design and workshop teams
- Coordinating and closely collaborating with other departments, such as Process, Electrical, and Quality Assurance
- Planning, coordinating, and monitoring workflows
- Managing data within ERP systems, including bills of materials and CAD documentation
- Developing new products and enhancing existing ones
- Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
Your Profile
- Completed technical education with further training in mechanical engineering
- Several years of professional experience, ideally in mechanical and plant engineering
- Strong technical understanding and hands-on mechanical skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient problem-solving skills with a strong focus on quality
- Proficient in MS Office and CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks)
- Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of German and/or French is a plus
