About the Company
ANAVIA specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) systems weighing up to 500 kilograms. Our company offers industry-leading unmanned helicopter systems tailored for various mission profiles, including Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Inspection, Mapping, and Cargo operations.
Key Tasks
- Mechanical Design: Design and develop mechanical systems for unmanned helicopters, focusing on structural components, landing gear, propulsion systems, and control mechanisms. Experience with either composite structures (layups) or rotating machinery (rotor heads, turbines, or propellers) is essential.
- Composite and Structural Analysis and Simulation: Proven expertise in composite materials is required to optimize weight, strength, and durability. Conduct basic mechanical analysis and simulations (such as hand calculations or simplified finite element analysis) to assess the structural integrity and performance of designs under various load conditions.
- Rotating Machinery and Dynamics: Contribute to the design and testing of rotating components, ensuring reliability and vibration control. Perform basic dynamic load assessments and fatigue analysis for rotor systems and gas turbines.
- Prototyping and Testing: Collaborate with manufacturing and testing teams to construct prototypes and conduct testing. Execute validation testing to ensure designs meet performance and safety requirements.
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including design specifications, testing procedures, and maintenance manuals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with electrical, aerodynamic, and software engineering teams to ensure integrated design and optimal performance of unmanned helicopter systems.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure that mechanical designs adhere to relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of advancements in mechanical engineering and UAV technology, integrating best practices into design processes.
