Your Role as Mechanic Engine Testing

As a Mechanic Engine Testing, you will:

  • Rig and de-rig Pratt & Whitney PW4000, CFM International CFM56, GTF & LEAP engines for the engine test run in accordance with the manufacturer's manuals.
  • Perform final engine test runs of Pratt & Whitney PW4000, CFM International CFM56, GTF & LEAP engines per the manufacturer's manuals.
  • Conduct borescope inspections after the test runs.
  • Engage in troubleshooting within the test cell.
  • Ensure timely execution and independent self-control of performed orders.
  • Document activities assigned in accordance with regulations.
  • Continuously improve executed processes, aiming to enhance quality and reduce production costs.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A technical background in engine test cell operations or completed vocational training in metal/mechanical fields (e.g., polymechanics, machine or automobile mechanics), with borescope inspection certification and 2+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in inspection and maintenance tasks, with the ability to work independently while demonstrating precision and strong responsibility.
  • Solid problem-solving abilities combined with clear and effective communication skills.
  • Comfort with a two-shift schedule and a flexible, reliable approach.
  • Being a strong team player with an open-minded, dedicated attitude.
  • A high awareness of safety, quality, and cost efficiency in daily work.
  • Good command of MS Office and SAP; proficiency in English at B2 level, with German as a plus.
