Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection and measurement of vehicle components made from composite materials, as well as associated individual parts, laminating molds, and fixtures. This role requires proficiency in utilizing advanced measurement tools such as 3D measuring arms, 3D laser scanners, and handheld measurement instruments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and measure vehicle components and related parts using various advanced measurement tools.
  • Control and identify non-conforming parts.
  • Prepare, document, and create comprehensive inspection reports.
  • Record error reports in the quality management system.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to efficiently develop and implement solutions.
  • Act as a point of contact and support for various departments on measurement and technical drawing-related issues.

Qualifications

  • Successfully completed mechanical apprenticeship; additional training in quality assurance (AUKOM Level 1 & 2) is desirable.
  • Experience with 3D measuring arms and Polyworks software.
  • Experience in using common handheld measuring instruments.
  • Strong knowledge in reading technical drawings (ISO GPS 8015).
  • Structured, precise, and independent working style.
  • High resilience, flexibility, and willingness to work in a 2-shift system.
  • Fluent in German or English, with a willingness to learn basic knowledge of the other language.
