Your Crew

Join our Manufacturing & Process (M&P) team, where you will develop cutting-edge launcher structures for the payloads of tomorrow. You will work in a multicultural environment, collaborating hands-on with experts on the latest projects for a wide range of customers. You'll support the manufacturing and testing of composite parts and have the chance to lead your own project. With us, you will have the opportunity to excel and learn something new every day, as each day brings unique chances to go beyond the ordinary. The M&P team is looking for an intern for a minimum of six months.

Your Mission

• Write the technical documentation required to qualify materials and processes used in space applications
• Define how to characterize different material properties from metals, composites, paints, and other materials used in our products
• Supervise the manufacturing and testing of specimens
• Analyze test data and provide your interpretation based on the theoretical knowledge gained during your studies
• Develop new manufacturing concepts and validate them

Your Story

• Master's or Bachelor's student in Material Sciences or Mechanical Engineering (at least in the 5th semester of your Bachelor)
• Very good German skills (minimum B2-C1) and fluent in English (able to communicate in daily business)
• Any experience in the aerospace industry and/or with composite materials (CFRP) would be a plus (but not a requirement; you are here to learn!)
• Critical thinker with a knack for tackling challenges and independently finding optimal solutions in a rational manner
• Excellent team player, ready to collaborate and support team efforts
