Master Data Manager

Roche Switzerland bridges the gap between pharmaceuticals and diagnostics, housing vital research and development functions. We are currently seeking a Master Data Manager for our long-term client, F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG, located in Kaiseraugst.

Background

The Materials Management Organization is a fundamental pillar within the Site, overseeing production planning, local procurement, materials planning, and master data management. As a Master Data Manager, you will be part of a dedicated community, reporting directly to the Unit Lead Master Data.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Work in a supply chain-driven make assess release process area, understanding technical connections and interdependencies to effectively combine changes and define the necessary steps for achieving them.
  • Develop the master data strategy to ensure future-ready master data, including system standardization, monitoring, and maintenance of master data.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement projects to reduce lead times and enhance data quality through standardization, automation (e.g., RPA), and data/process enhancements, alongside the relevant data analytics.

Must Haves

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Master Data management, preferably in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment with GxP experience.
  • Strong understanding of SAP master data maintenance processes (including S4 Hana and MDG-M).
  • Proficiency in identifying, maintaining, and optimizing data and processes, including related documentation.
  • Fluency in German and English (minimum C1 level).
  • Ability to make timely decisions based on thorough analysis while demonstrating profound business insight.
  • Goal-oriented team player who enjoys working in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Strong customer focus and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain constructive relationships with internal and external customers, peers, and team members.
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, proactive, with a keen analytical mind and smart approach.
