Roche Switzerland bridges the gap between pharmaceuticals and diagnostics. Important research and development functions are located here. For our long-term client, F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG in Kaiseraugst, we are looking for a dedicated Master Data Manager.

Background

The Materials Management Organization is a major pillar within the site, encompassing the management of production planning, local procurement, materials planning, and master data. As a Master Data Manager, you will be part of the community reporting directly to the Unit Lead Master Data.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Work within a supply chain-driven make assessment release process area, understanding technical connections and interdependencies to combine changes and define the required steps for achievement.
  • Develop the master data strategy to ensure future viability, including standardization of systems as well as monitoring and maintaining master data.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing lead time and enhancing data quality through standardization, automation (e.g., RPA), or data/process improvements, complemented by appropriate data analytics.

Must Haves

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Master Data Management, preferably in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment with GxP experience.
  • Strong understanding of SAP master data maintenance processes (including S4 Hana, MDG-M).
  • Capability to identify, maintain, and optimize data and processes, along with the corresponding documentation.
  • Fluency in German and English (Minimum C1 Level).
  • Ability to make timely decisions based on thorough analysis and assessment, demonstrating strong business insight.
  • Goal-oriented team player who excels in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Effective communicator with excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, able to build and maintain constructive relationships with internal and external customers, peers, and team members.
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, proactive, and analytically minded with a smart approach.
