Master Data Manager

Background:

The Materials Management Organization plays a crucial role within the site, encompassing production planning, local procurement, materials planning, and master data management. As a Master Data Manager, you will be part of a community that reports directly to the Unit Lead Master Data.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Work in a supply chain-driven make assess release process area, understanding technical connections and interdependencies to effectively combine changes and outline the required steps for achievement.
  • Develop a master data strategy aimed at future-readiness, including system standardization, monitoring, and maintenance of master data.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement projects to reduce lead time and enhance data quality through standardization, automation (e.g., RPA), and improvements in data/process along with corresponding data analytics.

Must Haves:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Master Data management, preferably within a pharmaceutical or regulated environment, with GxP experience.
  • Strong understanding of SAP master data maintenance processes (including S4 Hana, MDG-M).
  • Proficient in identifying, maintaining, and optimizing data and processes, including associated documentation.
  • Fluency in German and English (minimum C1 level).
  • Able to make timely decisions based on comprehensive analysis and assessment while demonstrating profound business acumen.
  • Goal-oriented team player who enjoys working in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Effective communicator with exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining constructive relationships with internal and external customers, peers, and team members.
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, proactive, and analytical with a smart approach to problem-solving.
