International Key Accounts

The International Key Accounts are organized into three Strategic Customer clusters: Sustain & Grow Network, Protect & Acquire Network, and Strategic Customer Focus Sonic. This Network is tasked with driving growth in our Diagnostics Business, focusing on our Divisional International Key Accounts through a customer and patient-centric approach.

The Role

As the Marketing Lead for International Key Accounts at Roche Diagnostics, you will play a pivotal role within the leadership team of the International Key Account Management team E-L. You will collaborate closely with Network and International Corporate Account Leaders, as well as International Key Account Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic direction for the Marketing strategy and execution for the International Key Accounts Network, aligning with both Divisional and Regional strategies.
  • Co-create an account-specific marketing strategy with the IKAMs, utilizing thought leadership platforms such as LabLeaders and Healthcare Transformers, along with Gold-Silver-Bronze marketing packages that resonate with C-suite interests (e.g., Sustainability, Innovation, Neurology, Cardiometabolic).
  • Provide IKAMs with curated strategic insights and hands-on support to design and implement customized marketing experiences.
  • Serve as a liaison between IKAMs and other marketing and product management functions (M&CI, NEO, etc.) to facilitate execution.
  • Collaborate with the Global Strategic Insights chapter (M&CI) to launch and maintain an account-level customer insights strategy (including NPS, customer service data, complaints database, customer financial reports, and market research).
  • Work together with the Global Strategic Insights chapter (M&CI) to consolidate all relevant market research and customer area market reports, summarizing key strategic implications and insights for the IKAM network.
  • Consolidate and deliver competitive insights from the global Roche Academy (M&CI), encompassing all competitive marketing programs (e.g., Competitive Masterclasses) and best practice sharing opportunities (e.g., Essential Competitive Talks).
  • Develop a learning and development strategy for the IKAM network, leveraging regional (NEO Commercial Excellence) and global (M&CI Roche Commercial Academy) training programs, tools, and resources.

Who You Are

To excel in this role, you ideally possess the following skills and experiences:

  • Strong business and commercial acumen, along with a solid understanding of the healthcare market.
  • Prior experience in Marketing, Product, and Solution Management is essential, complemented by a deep understanding of Roche’s structure and network.
  • A systems thinker with the ability to navigate the complexities of the Roche environment.
  • Proficient knowledge and skills in digital and AI tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with experience in building, leading, and coaching teams. The ability to communicate complex topics in a simple and articulate manner to various audiences is crucial.
