Your Mission
As a Market Segment Manager - Chemical Process Analytics, you will be pivotal in driving our strategic growth within the chemical industry. By developing a deep understanding of market needs, trends, and dynamics, you will align Hamilton's solutions with industry demands. Your market knowledge, entrepreneurial mindset, and strategic vision will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our business unit.
Your Responsibilities
- Market Development & Expansion: Analyze the chemical process industry, identify market opportunities, and develop strategies to drive growth and market penetration.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Define and execute go-to-market plans, including positioning, value proposition, and portfolio strategy.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the internal and external expert for the chemical process analytics market, representing Hamilton at industry events, conferences, and with key accounts.
- Market Research & Trend Analysis: Initiate and manage market research to identify trends, customer needs, and regulatory developments.
- Product & Innovation Strategy: Translate market requirements into actionable insights for product development and portfolio evolution.
- Networking & Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with industry associations, thought leaders, and strategic partners to accelerate market adoption.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Sales, R&D, Product Management, Marketing, Production, and Customer Support to enhance operational growth and ensure successful market strategy execution.
What You Bring Along
- Degree in chemical process engineering, process analytics, industrial engineering, or a related field; an additional business degree or MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, business development, or product management, ideally within the chemical or process industry.
- Proven track record in launching products or developing new market segments.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the capacity to work independently and proactively in a dynamic environment.
- Analytical proficiency with a thorough understanding of market drivers, regulatory influences, and technology trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluent English skills are required; basic German skills are highly desirable but not essential.
